Palms are effectively protected by the ARMOR-TEX insert while maintaining a good sense of touch to allow safe searching of persons and objects. The Profi-Line STGX is also suitable for shooting and other activities.
The outer palm consists of grip material to guarantee secure handling of objects and optimal weapon control. Elastic spandex-nylon inserts on the back of the hand ensure a perfect fit.
The outside of the thumb is fitted with absorbent material for wiping away moisture, e.g. from gun scopes, eyewear or other glass surfaces.
ARMOR-TEX material is highly abrasion resistant when in contact with water or cleaning agents and can be washed easily and used safely without
compromising cut protection properties.

ARMOR-TEX:
This is one of the strongest and most lightweight fibres in the world. This bright polyethylene is ten times as strong as steel, more durable than polyester and is characterised by a specific strength that is 40 percent greater than the one of aramide fibre. ARMOR-TEX fibres synthesised from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene which is generated by a patented gel-spinning process. Polyethylene is an incredibly durable synthetic material. Scientists at ARMOR-TEX Technologies have captured the enormous natural strength of the molecular structure of this every-day synthetic material to develop one of the strongest, yet most lightweight fibres in the world.
The gel-spinning manufacturing process and other production steps ensure a higher melting temperature of 150 to 300 degrees compared to conventional polyethylene.
The material is light enough to float, but at the same time it is exceptionally resistant to chemicals, water and UV-light. It has outstanding vibration dampening properties, flex fatigue and does not show up on radar.
