Since the 50s, Brynje netted underwear has been manufactured in Norway for outdoor use combining the advantages of synthetics (Meraklon) with already proven meshed fabrics. In contrast to wool or cotton, Meraklon does not absorb any body moisture and excessive body heat can escape through much better through the netted fabric compared to smooth underwear. An insulating air space also protects from cold and wind. So the body remains warm. Skin and undergarments remain dry. This has been proven in tests conducted in arctic conditions by special military units, during international expeditions and by top athletes.
