The GSG 9.2 is a new and improved version of the classic GSG 9.
The design and technology has been developed even further. This boot offers several innovations such as a breathable shaft which is also water-resistant and a fully shock-absorbing non-slip outer sole. The shaft is made of leather, mesh fabric and membrane:
- The CLIMAPROOF-material is a water-resistant and also breathable membrane (ca. 75% of the shaft = seam-sealed membrane sock).
- Full grain, impregnated cow skin for water-resistance and comfortable wear.
- Perforated shaft offers additional breathability, air circulation and flexibility.
- Midfoot support thanks to saddle construction and highly abrasion-resistant leather with special coating (Helcor/adiTUFF). This considerably minimizes wear and tear of the shaft during fast roping.
Removable insole:
- Removable, anatomically pre-shaped EVA-insole with open-pored, odour and moisture absorbing OrthoLite structure offers optimal feel.
- The foot bed is protected by the EVA insole with carbon particles.
Outer sole:
- The outer sole is equivalent to a shell sole.
- The adiPRENE heel ensures optimal cushioning and minimises dangerous impact forces.
- The outsole has been developed specifically with the Adidas-Traxion stud system for ultimate grip and outstanding slip-resistance.
- The highly abrasion-resistant adi-Tuff/Helcor material is also fitted to the inside of the sole.
- Purpose designed stud alignment allows for secure fast turning movements, aids braking when running downhill and a swinging effect makes running uphill easier.
- The outsole is resistant to oil and petrol.
