Beschreibung
The AKU KS Schwer 19 GTX was developed by the Italian hiking and trekking shoe specialist in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Office of Armaments (armasuisse) for tough and intensive winter use in the mountains. It is extremely robust, comfortable and stable when carrying heavy loads. The 2.6mm thick Perwanger cowhide leather and GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort membrane make the boot waterproof and offer a range of use from +10°C to -25°C. Furthermore, the KS 19 is made with a leaf cut, which reduces the number of seams on the boot and improves comfort. Fewer seams reduce the risk of potential pressure points and seam wear. The raised and wraparound scree guard protects the feet and toes, the upper from wear and stabilizes the shape of the shoe. The difference between the KS 14 and the KS 19 is only in the deep draw hook - the gray KS 14 has a normal clamp hook and the KS 19 has a click clamp hook.
Recommended range of use: +10°C to -25°C.
