Aliens Abseilachter Small Rescue Eight 40 kN
A rescue eight that can also be used for sports. It can be used for blocking and lowering loads. The two "ears" are used as an aid when positioning the rope(s) and should also distribute the temperature better. The device is made of aluminium, is a moderate size at 14 cm x 13 cm x 1.5 cm and, at 156 g, has a medium weight for abseil eights in this field of application. The Aliens Abseilachter Small Rescue Eight has an individual serial number for unique identification. a breaking strength of 40 kN rounds off the abseiling eight. As the device does not constitute PPE (personal protective equipment) under the law, the abseiling eight does not have a CE mark and is not subject to mandatory certification (as of March 2017).
