Aliens HMS Screwlock carabiner
This classic aluminium HMS carabiner with screw lock from Aliens offers everything a carabiner of this type needs to be able to do. At approx. 88 g, the Aliens HMS Classic ScrewLock carabiner is fairly light in its class. The generous gate opening of 23 mm makes it easy to insert the rope or clip the carabiner into the respective anchor point.
The Aliens HMS Classic ScrewLock fulfils EN 12275 (standard for sports carabiners) and EN 362 (standard for commercial and industrial applications, e.g. fall protection, restraint systems, anchorages, etc.). The breaking strength of the Aliens HMS Classic ScrewLock with 25 kN in the longitudinal axis, 9 kN in the transverse axis and 8 kN in the "open breaking strength" is quite good and absolutely sufficient. Thanks to its round profile, all knots and ropes run smoothly and undisturbed through the carabiner. The so-called "half-mast throw" can also be handled well.
