This classic aluminium HMS carabiner with automatic Trilock closure from Aliens offers everything a carabiner of this type needs to be able to do. At approx. 93 g, the Aliens HMS Aluminium Classic Trilock carabiner is quite light in its class. The generous gate opening of 23 mm makes it easy to insert the rope or clip the carabiner. The Aliens HMS Alu Classic Trilock carabiner complies with EN 12275 (standard for sports carabiners) and EN 362 (standard for commercial and industrial applications, such as fall protection, restraint systems, anchorages, etc.).
The breaking strength of the Aliens HMS Alu Classic Trilock carabiner with 25 kN in the longitudinal axis, 9 kN in the transverse axis and 8 kN in the "open breaking strength" is quite good and perfectly adequate. Thanks to its round profile, all knots and ropes run smoothly and undisturbed through the carabiner. The so-called "half-mast throw" can also be operated well. The Trilock closure works very quickly and very precisely. Thanks to the three milled rings in the sleeve, you can also "feel" what kind of clasp it is. 3 rings stand for three movements, namely "push", "turn" and "open gate". The carabiners have an individual serial number and can therefore be clearly identified.
