It is therefore specially designed for high-risk applications where increased mechanical protection is required.

Inspired by the overlapping scales of armadillos, Armadillo Tex has developed a stab protection solution in which safety and flexibility are no longer mutually exclusive. The innovative structure enables exceptional adaptability and breathability without restricting the protective effect - even during dynamic and extreme movements.

Lightweight, flexible and powerful

Weighing just 1.3 kg in standard sizes, Armadillo Tex adjustable waistcoats are among the lightest in their class. The protective layer is made of a durable aramid composite, while the outer material is made of breathable polyester. Thanks to their high flexibility, the waistcoats fit close to the body and can be worn discreetly under outer clothing.

Large protective surface and customised fit

As the protective layer does not rely on rigid insertion panels, Armadillo Tex waistcoats offer significantly greater protection for the upper body than many conventional stab protection waistcoats. The waistcoats can be individually adjusted using shoulder and waist straps with Velcro fasteners and adapt perfectly to both male and female body shapes.

Removable protective panels also enable simple, hygienic cleaning and emphasise the suitability of both product lines for everyday use.
