The balaclava Woolpower Balaclava Lite is a face protector with a single opening for the eyes. The opening is designed so that it can also be pulled under the nose or mouth as needed. It also provides extra protection for the neck and throat.
The thin Woolpower Lite collection is specially designed for outdoor activities in the transitional season. The slightly cooler Base Layer series is best worn directly against the skin and is also ideal for summer temperatures thanks to particularly fine and flat-knit merino fibers. The soft and elastic blended fabric combines the perfect body climate of merino wool with the advantages of modern functional fibers and offers optimal fit and functionality in every season. Wool is nature's functional material and so far no one has succeeded in artificially producing a fiber that has such fantastic properties as wool. The material is to a certain extent self-cleaning and has a natural antibacterial effect, so wool clothing does not smell unpleasant even after prolonged use. Wool fibers can absorb up to 30 percent of their own weight in moisture without feeling damp. When moisture is absorbed, so-called absorption heat is created in an exothermic process, so wool is warm even when it is damp. Woolpower Lite is machine washable up to 60 °C and is made in Sweden.
