Ballistic protection helmet VIPER 3 Level IIIA GEN2

The VIPER 3 helmet with protection level NIJ IIIA is based on the PASGT (Personal Armour System Ground Troops protection system) helmet and has been designed to offer compatibility with night vision and communication devices. It is also lightweight and offers very good hearing and vision. The VIPER 3 has a deep neck extension for added protection and a deep ear cut-out to allow headsets and headsets to be worn. The helmet has an adjustable 4-point carrying system with quick-release fastener and a hard-wearing, breathable, washable and shock-absorbing pad system with 7 interchangeable foam pads.

The RD (Ratchet Dial) system of the VIPER GEN2 significantly improves the rotational stability of the helmet on the head, which is particularly important for mounted NVGs. The wearer can easily adjust the tension of the wires using a dial that controls the circumferential straps of the harness from the back of the head. In addition to the RD system, the harness has four quick release buckles that allow the wearer to easily adjust the strap tension of the helmet while the helmet is on the head.

The VIPER helmets are all equipped with NVG mounts on the front and rail rails on the sides. The rails are made of impact-resistant nylon and are supplied with two Picatinny adapters, two Wingloc universal adapters and two goggle clips. In addition, the rails can accommodate a variety of other accessories, e.g. sight mounts. This helmet is very popular with police and military special forces due to its exceptional comfort and flexibility in extreme conditions.
