Beschreibung

The Carinthia Defence 6 is built for long-term winter use. A fourth G-Loft insulation layer is added to the 3-layer sandwich construction in the foot area. The zipper is perfectly covered by a strong filled cover bead on the top, and a narrower, thermo-sewn cover bead on the bottom. The cover beads located between the zippers provide optimal insulation in this sensitive area. Optimal protection against moisture and cold is provided by the Shellproof outer shell, which is not sewn in. The micro coating makes the sleeping bag breathable, but absolutely windproof. Three more points for the Defense 6: Higher and durable thermal insulation: improved loft, which does not decrease over time = higher and long-lasting thermal insulation performance. The superior volume of G-Loft insulation is created by the permanent three-dimensional spiral crimping, and a special coating of the individual hollow fibers that reduces friction between the fibers. Low weight: no use of materials other than polyester. G-Loft is one hundred percent pure polyester compound, thermally compressed into "nests" at specific points. Smaller pack size: better compressibility = smaller pack size. Since the optimized bulk of the G-Loft insulation results in increased air trapping, which escapes with each compression, a handy small pack size is guaranteed
