Beschreibung

The DD Hammock Underblanket is suitable for temperatures down to -5°C and prevents heat loss from below. The ripstop nylon blanket has a water repellent coating and is filled with 200g of synthetic silk. When sleeping in a hammock, the greatest heat loss comes from your body weight compressing your sleeping bag. The DD Hammock Underblanket counteracts this by hanging under your hammock so that the sleeping bag bottom is not compressed, creating a bubble of air warmed by your body heat. The Underblanket should be hung with some slack to gently "hug" the hammock for the best insulation. The Underblanket is attached to the hammock with the 8 pre-assembled elastic loops with DD mini carabiners.
