Short description
The Tactical Specialty line allows Mechanix Wear to construct a new generation of tactical gloves. The Mechanix Azimuth is a perfectly fitting tactical glove with long cuff, high wearing comfort and maximum flame protection.
Material
Back of the hand made of 100% aramid (93% Nomex, 5% Kevlar, 2% carbon) with 100% leather trimmings. Palm in 100% leather. Cuff in 100% aramid (93% Nomex, 5% Kevlar, 2% carbon).
Beschreibung
The development of the Mechanix Azimuth FR Nomex was based in particular on the experience gained in special forces. The primary task objective was the protective properties for military and police forces without limiting the functionality in critical situations. Heat and flame protection for the forearm, wrist, back of the hand and fingers is guaranteed by the processed Nomex® fibers. A leather-covered EVA pad on the ball of the hand reduces impacts. A double additional seam on the trigger finger allows the fingertip of the glove to be cut off and prevents fraying. The FR goatskin in the palm is a perfect blend of sensitivity and durability, it provides an exceptionally homogeneous fit, especially when handling weapons and other on-duty activities. The index finger and thumb are touchscreen compatible. The width at the wrist is adjusted with a Velcro closure.
