The Gemeinschaft Deutscher Kommandosoldaten (GDK) chose this knife in a special color as their commando knife.
The GDK was founded in 2007 at the suggestion of members of the Special Forces Command (KSK). In the meantime, there are members inside and outside the Bundeswehr all over the world. Members hold positions in leading companies and institutions. The association also maintains many contacts with other organizations.
With its "One of Us" project, the GDK supports the bereaved families of fallen comrades. The "Gemeinschaft Deutscher Kommadosoldaten e.V." receives 10 euros for each GDK knife sold to support the relatives.
The GDK knife is based on a design by Andreas Weitzel
Eickhorn delivers this knife in a special color and inscription.
Handle scales made of earth-colored G-10, including brown Kydex sheath.
