Beschreibung

The Extrema Ratio Misericordia is an extremely lightweight and compact fixed blade mission knife designed for and by the 4th Reggimento Alpini Paracadutisti (4th Alpine Parachute Regiment) of the Italian Armed Forces. It can be used both as a main knife and as a backup knife. The blade of the Misericordia is milled from Böhler N690 steel, hardened at 58 HRC, 118 mm long and 4 mm thick with a smooth edge.

The blade features the classic Extrema Ratio MIL-C-13924 black finish. At the rear end, the handle flows in conjunction with a large ring that allows the use of martial arts techniques and provides a very firm grip in the hand. The ring is equipped with a carbide glass breaker.

The knife is secured in the sheath by a quick-release lock that can be easily reversed for left-hand use. The impact-resistant nylon sheath is versatile: an adjustable double-clip system allows the user to adapt it to different types of straps, including MOLLE. A tapered inlet facilitates knife holstering, while squeezing the trigger-style safety lever allows for quick, instinctive knife removal.
