Is there a minimum order value?

The minimum order value is 25 Euro only for cash on delivery. For international deliveries we generally have a minimum order value of 50 Euro.

What do the colours mean for the availability of the articles?

Items marked in green are currently in stock. However, if many customers access the same article at the same time, bottlenecks may still occur. The display is always to be regarded as non-binding. Subject to prior sale.

Yellow marked articles have at the moment only very small stock or the commodity is still in the inflow. Here it can come possibly to delivery delays.

Red marked articles are not available at the moment. A new delivery date is either not yet known or is mentioned in the article description. If you should order such an article, you will be preferentially supplied immediately after receipt of goods.

I need the articles within one day, is express delivery possible with you?

Yes, orders that reach us by 12:00 noon and are ordered by credit card can be shipped by express. For this we absolutely need a callback number from you.

How much does express shipping cost?

The delivery takes place on the next working day.

What happens if I am not at home at the time of delivery?

If you are not at home when the goods are delivered, DHL will send you a notification slip which you can use to collect your order from your nearest post office within the next 7 working days.

I haven't received my goods yet, where can I check the delivery status?

Log in. You can check the status of your order via your profile.

I have only received part of my order, where is the rest?

Items that were not included in the first delivery will be redelivered free of charge. The subsequent delivery will be made automatically as soon as the items are back in stock.

Does a subsequent delivery cost extra?

No, if not all ordered articles are in stock and a subsequent delivery is necessary, the additional postage costs are fully at our expense. So you only pay the flat rate of 2,95 Euro per order.

Does Recon Company offer a wholesale discount?

Upon presentation of your business registration, you may become a Recon distributor. As a registered dealer you will receive wholesale prices, which can also be displayed online. Please contact us for more information.

Payment

How can I pay at Recon-Company?

You can choose between the following payment methods:

Prepayment: You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail after receipt of your order. Your order will be processed after receipt of payment.

Credit card: We accept Master, VISA and American Express credit cards. Your credit card will only be charged when the goods leave our premises.

Cash on delivery: Here you pay directly upon receipt of the goods. The Deutsche Post (DHL) charges a fee of € 3,60 which will be shown on the invoice. In addition, you pay € 2.00 to the deliverer on the stated cash on delivery amount. Cash on delivery shipments abroad are unfortunately not possible.

By Paypal: To be able to pay with PayPal, you need an active PayPal account. With this account you can process your payment via the PayPal service in a few minutes. 

Fieldpost

What is field post?

Soldiers on foreign missions receive their mail via the so-called field post. This field post can only be used by members of the NATO forces in non-European foreign deployment (outside the EU).

How high are the postage costs?

For members of the Bundeswehr - up to 30 kg - 2,95 Euro (VAT free).

How long does a delivery by field post take?

Fieldpost parcels are handled by Deutsche Post AG (DHL) like normal parcels and are handed over to the fieldpost control centre in Darmstadt one day after collection from us. The further tracking of a fieldpost parcel is not possible for us after that. The onward transport from Darmstadt to the country of deployment depends on the availability of transport capacities and can take several days. Experience shows that 3 - 4 days pass until the parcel arrives at the place of deployment.

Are field post deliveries tax-free?

All deliveries by field post are exempt from German VAT. You will always receive a detailed invoice from us with net prices. Please note the legal regulations for any re-importation on the occasion of your return to the FRG.

Customer card

How can I purchase a customer card?

Customer cards can be ordered through our mail order department (online, in writing, by phone or fax) and are available in our retail store.

Is the card valid with the first order?

As soon as you order the customer card, you will already receive the respective discount on your order. This discount will not yet be displayed online when you place your first order and will be entered by us at a later date. However, the customer card itself is not discountable.

How long is my customer card valid?

The customer cards are valid for one year or 2 years after the invoice date and then automatically lose their validity.

On which products do I get the indicated discount?

You will receive the stated discount on all articles, except for books, weapons, ammunition or articles in whose description it is expressly mentioned that no customer card discount can be granted on them.

Where is my customer card ?

Your customer card is stored digitally in your master data. This means that you do not have to show it when making a purchase. The discount will take effect automatically.

Can I also use my customer card to shop in your store?

Yes, you can also use your card to shop in our stores. This is digitally stored in your master data with us and you therefore automatically receive your customer card discount. Only the cardholder himself can shop with the customer card.

Is the customer card automatically recognised when I place an order?

Yes, as soon as you log in, you will see your prices minus the customer card discount. To ensure this, your customer card must be digitally stored with us. This happens automatically after your first order transaction.

Catalog

How do I get the Recon catalogue?

Our current catalogue is available free of charge domestically. If you only want to order the catalogue, you can add it as a single item to your shopping cart. The catalogue will be sent to you free of charge within the Federal Republic of Germany. If you want a catalogue together with your order, you can order it for free at any time.

How much does the Recon catalogue cost abroad?

Customers abroad pay a nominal charge of 8 Euro for packaging and shipping.

Can I order several catalogues?

Especially for our retailers we offer the possibility to order several catalogues. Please contact us regarding this.

Proof of age

What is proof of age?

A proof of age is a valid, official document (e.g. driving licence, identity card, military ID) that proves your age. All items marked with "proof of age required" can only be ordered after presentation of a valid proof of age. It is mandatory by law that we, as a retailer, must ensure proof of age.

What happens to my proof of age?

After verification, your data will be stored once in our customer database and archived for internal purposes. We assure you that your data will not be passed on to third parties. Data protection notice

Do I have to provide proof of age for every order?

You only have to provide proof of age once. We will store the proof of age with us and enter it in your customer account. Once you have provided proof of age, you will be able to order all items from our range that require proof of age without restriction.

Why do I have to send proof of age, even though the article is free from 14?

As part of our company philosophy, we only sell articles requiring proof of age to persons who are of age, regardless of the legal regulations.
