Thermal trousers or softshell trousers for winter training?
Thermal trousers made from a merino wool blend work well as a base layer under shell trousers. Worn on their own, they’ll keep you warm down to around -5 °C as long as you’re staying active. Softshell trousers perform better in windy and wet conditions, but are heavier and less breathable.

How often can I wash merino sports trousers?
Merino wool-blend trousers, such as the Aclima FleeceWool, should be washed on the woollens cycle at 30–40 °C and laid flat to dry. Thanks to wool’s natural odour-neutral properties, they need washing much less frequently than puresynthetic sports trousers.
