The Hanwag Ferrata Light Low GTX is a robust and crampon resistant trekking boot for demanding tours.
Upper: synthetic, mesh fabric; lining: synthetic; bean: Gore-Tex; midsole: PU; outsole. Rubber
The lightweight yet robust Hanwag Ferrata Light Low GTX is made entirely of robust, almost indestructible polyurethane yarn. The upper structure was also manufactured as a so-called One-Piece-Upper construction and comes completely without seams. This not only minimizes the risk of seam failures and associated damage to the shoe, it also reduces the risk of chafing and pressure points. The Vibram Integral Light outsole has a chunky construction and provides maximum traction even on slippery surfaces. The midsole features Hanwag's Tubetec technology, with an additional crampon pad in the heel area. For the Tubetec sole, particularly soft and cushioning PU (polyurethane) is used and cast in a so-called tube. This makes the sole particularly comfortable and robust at the same time.
