Designed for professional users, the Petzl PIXA 3R is a robust rechargeable headlamp for frequent use. Thanks to its different light cones, it adapts to any work situation: Working at close range, locomotion and distance vision. CONSTANT LIGHTING technology: the luminosity does not decrease as the battery gets weaker. It meets the requirements of the ATEX directive for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (Zone 2/22 II 3 GD Ex ic IIB T4 Gc IIIC T135° C Dc).
With the headlamp, the user has both hands free to work. It can be worn on the head with the headband, attached to a helmet with the mounting system (included), or placed on the ground.
The integrated lithium-ion polymer battery, combined with a quick-charging station (3 hours) is designed for frequent use.
Multiple light modes for different needs:
Light mode for close-range work: wide, homogeneous light cone.
Light mode for locomotion: combined light cone with a focused component for safe locomotion.
Light mode for distance vision: focused light cone.
The light duration can be adjusted to adapt the light output to the user's requirements (short operation of the rotary switch):
STANDARD: balanced ratio between luminosity and luminous duration (20 + 55 lumens).
MAX AUTONOMY: maximum luminous period (11h 30min).
MAX POWER: maximum luminosity (90 lumens)
