The Boresnake Viper is built on the same principle as the classic Boresnake, but is optimized for extreme contamination. The differences between the Boresnake and the Boresnake Viper: A conical sleeve at the beginning of the cleaning cord ensures precise guidance during passage through the barrel. Instead of one long bronze brush, the Boresnake Viper has three shorter bronze brushes. This means that in a single pass, each cm in the barrel is brushed three times with a bronze brush, followed by three passes of brushed-off residue from the cleaning cord. In this way, the cleaning effect is increased by another 50% compared to the "normal" Borsnake.
Another difference is the significantly larger lubrication zone at the end of the Boresnake Viper. Thus, after the very thorough cleaning, the lubrication and corrosion protection is also applied more thickly and distributed even more evenly
As with the Borsnake, the Boresnake Viper has the caliber engraved on the brass weight to eliminate confusion. The Boresnake Viper can also be used over and over again and can be easily washed in the washing machine if necessary.
