The Magpul STR (Storage/Type Restricted) is a drop-in replacement stock for AR15/ M4 carbines with Mil-Spec sized connection. The STR is an improved version of the CTR®. It features an improved cheek rest and two waterproof battery storage tubes on a compact, reinforced polymer A-frame. The two waterproof battery compartments are suitable for holding up to 2x CR123A lithium or 1x AA batteries each. The tubes are accessible from the rear via a rubber plug that can be removed by hand. A shielded adjustment lever and additional locking system prevent accidental operation and minimize excessive stock movement to improve rifle stability and accuracy. The STR features two integral and one replaceable 0.30" thick rubber pad.

Compatible with Magpul ASAP, ASAP QD and other rifle sling attachments such as loops, paracord.

Note: Compatible only with Mil-Spec Buffer Tubes with a diameter of 1.145 - 1.150 inches.
