The Jed Belt MGS is the basic component of the modular harness system (MGS) from md-textil and can be upgraded to a holding harness certified to EN358, a sit harness EN12277 or a fall arrest harness EN361. Thanks to the AustriAlpin D-Ring Cobra and a specially designed seam pattern that can absorb forces from all directions, this belt has a breaking load of >30kN (>3059kg). The 43mm wide, double layered, TYPVII webbing is manufactured to md-textil's specifications in Germany and ensures a comfortable wear while providing maximum durability for everyday use. Velcro is sewn to the inside of the belt over the entire length to accommodate the adapters for the leg loops MGS or other accessories. The D-ring cobra is simply clicked shut and then locks reliably. Only when no load is resting on the cobra and both locking devices are actuated at the same time, the closure can be opened, this guarantees safe handling. The overlength for adjusting the size is cut diagonally for better handling and fixed with Velcro and allows the belt to be adjusted by 10 cm in circumference.
The Jed Belt MGS achieves the following certifications
In combination with the Modular Belt MGS or comparable: EN358 tether belt.
In combination with the leg loop MGS EN12277 TYPE C seat harness (climbing harness).
In combination with the chest belt MGS EN12277 TYPE A complete harness AND EN361 fall arrest harness.

To obtain the correct waist measurement / belt length proceed as follows:
Wearing trousers that are usually used on duty / everyday life with the belt.
There must NOT be a belt looped into the trousers.
Pull the measuring tape through the flaps of the trousers.
Read the waist measurement.
The waistband measurement determined in this way applies to a belt worn inside the trousers. If the belt is to be used over clothing or in the Battle Belt, for example, the measuring tape must be put on over the clothing or through the Battle Belt to determine the size.
