With the leg loops MGS from md-textil, the Jed Belt of the modular harness system (MGS) can be upgraded to a seat harness according to EN12277-C in seconds and do not have to be fumbled through a rope loop or similar. To install the leg loops, the belt is opened and the harness loop is slid onto it, then the two 25 mm Cobra Buckles on the thighs are closed, so that the belt can be put on quickly even with full leg pockets and the size only needs to be adjusted once. On the back of the leg loops are suspenders that prevent slipping while running, these are attached directly to the belt or, for example, in the minor system of a modular belt with the supplied quick release adapters. The leg loops have a 6mm thick padding to allow for some comfort even in a compact size, in the back the 25mm webbing fans out to a width of about 45mm and supports load transfer. The leg loops come in universal length and have enough adjustment range. The overlengths for adjustment are double stitched around, so you can grip them securely even with gloves on, and the included rubber loops fix them securely to the harness.
The leg loops are certified in the following combinations:
In combination with the Jed Belt MGS: EN12277 type C seat harness.
In combination with the chest belt MGS EN12277 TYPE A complete harness AND EN361 fall arrest harness.
If in one of the cases the belt is worn in the modular belt is achieved in parallel EN358 as a restraint belt.
