Beschreibung
With the Gaberg, Morakniv offers a robust outdoor knife with a full-tang carbon steel blade with black anti-corrosion coating for particularly tough use. The black coating not only protects, but also looks good and gives the knife a slightly tactical appearance. The angular, 3.2 mm thick back of the blade was deliberately not finished so that it can be used as a friction surface for a firestarter. The polyamide handle with non-slip TPE inserts ensures a secure grip while working. For storage and transport, the knife comes with a plastic sheath and a MOLLE-compatible attachment system.
Carbon steel knives get a dull gray finish after some use. However, this does not negatively affect the quality of the blade. On the contrary, it will slightly improve the corrosion resistance. Make sure you keep the knife clean and dry to avoid rust. For best corrosion resistance, apply a thin layer of oil to the blade as soon as possible.
