Beschreibung

Originally worn by fishermen and sailors as a work sweater on the high seas, the troyer has become a universally popular classic for leisure and work. Typical for a troyer is the high-closing turtleneck, which can be opened by a zipper or a button placket and then worn folded over like the collar of a sailor's blouse.

The Elbe I Troyer from Elbe-Team is knitted in the traditional way in a robust bead yarn, using twisted yarns. As befits a true sailor's sweater, the yarns are dyed to be seawater and lightfast. The high-closing troyer collar, cuffs and waistband are doubled. The high-quality equipment also includes a facing of the zipper in the troyer collar.
