Proof of age

Items may only be sold to persons over the age of 18 in accordance with legal regulations:

For reasons of youth protection, some items offered in the Recon Company Shop may only be purchased from the age of 18. Examples of this are knives, defence spray and smoke cartridges.

An order or delivery of articles that require proof of age is only made to customers of legal age (18 years). The customer therefore confirms that he/she is of legal age and that his/her name, age and address details are correct when sending his/her order. The customer must also ensure that only he himself or persons of legal age authorised by him to accept the delivery take delivery of the goods.

Proof of authorisation

Items may only be delivered to persons who can identify themselves as members of the authorities:

Some items in the Recon Company Shop are only intended for work-related use by employees in the military, police, investigation, justice, customs and public services of the federal, state and local authorities.

For this purpose, we require a copy of an official identity card or an official document showing the name and affiliation to the department. You can send us a copy of these documents by fax to 05341 - 8334477 or as a scan by e-mail with pdf / jpg attachment to behoerdennachweis@recon-company.com

For transmission reasons, please avoid excessive data volumes.

You should copy your ID card in black and white before faxing so that it arrives here legible.

Your data will only be used by us to check your authorisation to purchase these regulated products. They will be treated with absolute confidentiality and destroyed after your order has been processed. It goes without saying that we will never pass on your data to third parties.

It is not necessary to provide new proof of authorisation for each order. Once we have checked your details, you can select and order for subsequent orders without any further formalities, provided that the customer number, person, e-mail and address match.
