Kopfumfang / head girth

Head circumference in cm: Place the measuring tape around your head (at forehead height above the eyebrows). The measurement determined in centimetres corresponds to your head circumference.

Herrenoberbekleidunggrößen / Men's outerwear sizes

You can determine your ideal ready-to-wear and order size by comparing your body measurements with our measurement charts . Select the correct length (normal, short, long) based on your body size. Now measure your chest and waist circumference and then take the order size from the table.

Chest circumference: Maximum horizontal circumference measured with normal breathing and upright posture, the measuring tape horizontally under the armpits and over the breast lift.
Waist circumference: circumference of the natural waistline between the upper edge of the hip bones and the lower ribs, measured with normal breathing, upright posture and relaxed abdomen.

The trousers from 5.11, Blackhawk, VertX, UfPro and other manufacturers are given in inch measurements/jeans sizes and are converted as follows:

W=Weite - waist, is given first and corresponds to the waist/waist size=order size
W=width - waist is given first and corresponds to the waist size=order size
L=Länge - length, the second corresponds to the inseam / leg length=length size
L=length - length, the second corresponds to the inseam / leg length=length size
1 Inch=2.54 cm. Find out your size by measuring the width and length in cm and dividing each by 2.54 cm!

To determine the correct glove size, measure the circumference of the hand without the thumb at the widest point (above the knuckles). To ensure that the gloves do not fit too tightly, the measuring tape should be placed loosely around the hand .

Damengrößen / Ladies size:
Ladies' outerwear normal size. In addition to normal sizes, there are also short and long sizes for ladies' outerwear. However, these are only available in specialised shops.
The sizes (in Europe) are calculated by halving the bust circumference in centimetres minus 6. Example: 92 cm bust : 2=46 - 6=size 40.

Kindergrößen / Kids size

In children's clothing, the clothing size indicates body height in centimetres. For example, the size 164 is for children who are up to 164 cm tall.

Shoe sizes

Sizes and measurements may vary depending on the manufacturer, brand and shape. How to determine the shoe size:
Place your foot on a ruler or measuring tape. Read off the measured inside dimension and look in the table to see which shoe size corresponds to the measured value!
