The SnigelDesign Level III ICW plate meets NIJ 0101.06 Level III ballistic requirements and withstands 7.62 x 51 mm steel jacketed FMJ bullets (US military designation M80) with a stated mass of 9.6 g and velocity of 847 m/s. It also meets Ak47 MSC requirements. The double curvature plate allows for a comfortable anatomical fit and is recommended for use as a front plate.
