Streamlight Sidewinder Compact II can be used either as a headlamp or helmet lamp.

The Sidewinder Compact II can be powered by either an AA Lithium, AA Alkaline or CR123A battery
A latching rotary selector switch, which must be pulled out to rotate, prevents accidental changes in operating mode and allows selection of 4 illumination sources: White C4 LED max. 55 lumens,
red LED max. 1.5 lumens,
blue LED max. 1.8 lumens,
Infrared LED, max output power at 880 nm wavelength.
IR backup mode prevents accidental battery power on/discharge in IR mode. Strob or IR-IFF function is activated by pressing the rubber button twice and is available in any LED color. Brightness switchable in 4 levels.
Supplied with helmet mount and headband and CR123A battery.
All functions can be operated and controlled with only one control element, even with gloves.
The helmet holder is easily mounted by 3 screws, suitable for military combat helmets. The lamp is simply clipped into the holder on the helmet or the headband, can be swivelled in all directions and, in the case of the helmet holder, can also be rotated.
