Swiss Eye Tactical shooting and safety glasses impress with their shatterproof polycarbonate lenses, which are manufactured in accordance with the strict safety standard EN1836:2005+A1:2007 and therefore fulfil all the criteria of optical class 1.

All models offer 100% UVA, UVB and UVC protection up to 400nm (nanometres) and guarantee the highest quality without distortion or incorrect images.

Swiss Eye glasses also have a special anti-fog/anti-scratch coating that prevents fogging and scratching of the lenses.

This standard corresponds to the German DIN standard and describes, among other things, the legal requirements / minimum requirements for sunglasses for general use as well as the requirements for protective filters for direct observation of the sun.

STANAG 2920:

STANAG is the abbreviation for Standardisation Agreement. The agreement deals with the testing of ballistic threats from fragmentation projectiles. In a special test procedure, called V-50, half of the shots must penetrate the target material and the other half of the shots must not penetrate the target material. An even number of shots, at least six, is used to calculate the V-50 value. The measured value is the arithmetic mean of the group of measured velocities.
