The SwissPiranha GS150 tent peg is the vegan version of the RT150. This peg is made of 100% bio-based plastic and is absolutely GMO-free. With a weight of 16.2 g at 15 cm total length, it is an extremely versatile peg for medium-sized tents, pavilions, tarpaulins, etc..
Material
PiranhaBT is an impact-resistant and biodegradable compound with high heat resistance based on polylactic acid (PLA) of plant origin. It is GMO-free and certified by "OK COMPOST" as industrially compostable.

The GreenShark tent pegs are made of 100% PirahnaBT, a bio-based plastic of plant origin, and are absolutely GMO-free. Innovative and naturally made in Switzerland, they offer distinct advantages over conventional metal tent pegs: they are ultra-lightweight and particularly foot-friendly thanks to their flat profile.Their tapered shape makes them easy to hammer in, while an x-shaped cross-section with a sawtooth profile ensures a secure hold in a wide variety of soils. The flat head compresses the ground and maximizes holding power. Notches reliably hold the tent lines in place and provide the best anchoring. Since SwissPiranha tent pegs are completely sunk into the ground at a 90° angle, the risk of injury is reduced to zero and there are no sharp edges to damage the tent fabric. Of course, discarded GreenShark tent pegs can be recycled - they are biodegradable and compostable.
The SwissPiranha GS150 is suitable for both hard and soft ground and can be used for mid-size tents and tarps, as well as ultra-light backpacking.
