The innovative SwissPiranha Snow and Sand Anchor is made of robust, highly flexible PiranhaXT and enables fast anchoring in soft ground such as sand or snow with high pull-out strength. At 20 cm blade length, the SSA offers more holding power than comparable snow anchors, but at 43 g individual weight, it is only half as heavy. Its PiranhaXT plastic remains elastic even at low temperatures (-50°C) and prevents "thawing" out of the snow - as occurs with conventional aluminum anchors when exposed to sunlight
Application:
Use a shovel to pierce a "T" in the surface, insert the SwissPiranha SSA at an angle of 30° to 45°, firm the surface by hitting it flat with the shovel - done!
