The 2T Coupler is the only magazine coupler on the market that can couple two 10-round MagPul Gen3 magazines to create the same length and curved shape as a MagPul 30-round magazine. Suitable for the demanding shooter who does not want to compromise in competition and training.
The 2T Coupler connects two 10-round MagPul Gen3 magazines. Coupling of 20- or 30-round magazines is also possible. The shape when coupled is identical to a 30-round magazine. No protruding elements, which would interfere with reloading. This also makes it compatible with existing magazine holders and pouches. The weight difference to a 30 shot magazine is just 25g. Connects and disconnects in seconds, without special tools. Only a .223 Rem case or buffer cartridge is needed for disconnection.
Made of durable BASF© acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (abbreviated ABS) thermoplastic terpolymer conforming to ISO 472:2013. High impact, tensile and flexural strength. If the case jams in the 2T Coupler due to heavy fouling, it can be ejected through the front opening with a standard AR-15 firing pin. The 2T Coupler has a roughened back for extra grip when gripping the coupled magazine.
Advantages of 3D printed manufacturing: Highest load capacity coupled with low weight. Allows the user to change magazines with coupled magazines falling to the ground without loosening the connection or damaging magazines or the 2T COUPLER
Tensile strength: Tested to 65 kg.
Bending load with two magazines mounted: Magazine coupler disengages at 45 kg pull (tolerance 2.5 kg +/-). Magazines and magazine coupler can be reassembled afterwards
High resistance to: oils, greases and salt water, temperature fluctuations, weathering and aging (especially UV).
