the Recon Company by Ranger Outdoor GmbH Krätzschmar is a trading company for the professional user.
From the modest beginnings 30 years ago with a product offer of scarcely 800 articles of straight times 20 manufacturers and offerers a current assortment of over 75,000 articles of more than 200 world-wide manufacturers developed.
This development of the product range in terms of variety and choice is the result of the exploration and evaluation of information and requirements from our professional and practice-oriented customers. Thus, the name Recon (from the English "reconnaissance") is really directly related to the implementation of technical solutions for the applications of our customers, but it reflects the philosophy and motto of our company.
This dedicated commitment is proven, among other things, by the constant growth of well-known national and international brands in the Recon range. From over 150 brands from international suppliers ranging from "A" like Atlanco USA to "Z" like Zippo USA, Recon offers its wholesale and retail customers a very wide range of top quality products. This selection meets all requirements for the most extreme applications, whether in the cold with ice and snow or in the heat with sand and dust.
For the brands Camelbak, Reebok, Belleville, Bollé Tactical, VertX, Hazard4, Web-tex, Snugpak, Mechanix, Karrimor, Bates, Gränsfors, SwissEye, Vega, Radar, Benchmade, 75Tactical and Warrior Assault Sytems Recon supplies the specialized trade as distributor for Germany and partly also Austria.
For the 45,000 articles comprehensive wholesale and retail assortment storage capacities on over 5000 square meters are available. This means that the logistical requirements for international incoming goods and outgoing goods with national and international shipping to all countries in the world can be handled without any problems.
More than 300,000 customers trust our more than twenty years of experience in the international mail order business. These include, for example, many thousands of field post customers during their time of service in KFOR and ISAF missions as well as security forces at German missions abroad or NATO forces on worldwide missions. But also committed outdoor activists from the most distant countries of this world appreciate our wide and versatile selection of high quality clothing and equipment.
In addition to our Recon online shop and the two catalogues for professional users and for outdoor activists, which have been published annually for 20 years, our customers are thrilled by the tangible shopping experience on 600 sqm in the shop at the Recon company location in Salzgitter Bad.
At the US Base Ramstein, Recon offers the more than 100,000 members of the US Armed Forces and international alliance partners a selection of high-quality products tailored to US service in its store in the mall.
All innovations and ongoing developments are based on our constant attention to the market. We provide timely, up-to-date products from qualified suppliers to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Regular visits to international trade fairs, participation in congresses, symposia, conferences are the prerequisite for the necessary flow of information.
