recon Company by Ranger Outdoor GmbH Krätzschmar is a trading company for professional users.
From humble beginnings over 30 years ago with a product range of just under 800 items from just 20 manufacturers and suppliers, we have built up a current range of over 75,000 items from more than 200 manufacturers worldwide.
This range development in terms of variety and choice results from the exploration and evaluation of information and requirements from our professional and practice-orientated customers. The name Recon (from the English word "reconnaissance") is therefore not only directly related to the realisation of specialist solutions for our customers' applications, but also reflects the philosophy and motto of our company.
This dedicated commitment is demonstrated, among other things, by the constant growth of well-known national and international brands in the Recon range. With over 150 brands from international suppliers ranging from "A" like Atlanco USA to "Z" like Zippo USA, Recon offers its wholesale and retail customers a very broad spectrum of top-quality products. This selection fulfils all requirements for the most extreme applications, whether in the cold with ice and snow or in the heat with sand and dust.
For the brands Camelbak, Reebok, Belleville, Bollé Tactical, VertX, Hazard4, Web-tex, Snugpak, Mechanix, Karrimor, Bates, Gränsfors, SwissEye, Vega, Radar, Benchmade, 75Tactical and Warrior Assault Systems, Recon supplies the specialised trade as distributor for Germany and partly also Austria.
Warehouse capacity of over 6000 square metres is available for the wholesale and retail range of 75,000 items. This means that the logistical requirements for international incoming and outgoing goods with national and international dispatch to all countries of the world can be handled without any problems.
More than 500,000 customers trust our more than twenty years of experience in the international mail order business. These include, for example, many thousands of field post customers during their service in KFOR and ISAF missions as well as security forces at German missions abroad or NATO forces on worldwide missions. But also dedicated outdoor activists from the most distant countries of the world appreciate our wide and varied selection of high-quality clothing and equipment.
In addition to our Recon online shop and the two catalogues for professional users and outdoor activists, which have been published annually for 25 years, our customers love the tangible shopping experience on 600 square metres in the shop at the Recon company site in Salzgitter Bad.
In its store in the mall at Ramstein US Base, Recon offers over 100,000 members of the US armed forces and international alliance partners a selection of high-quality products tailored to US service.
All innovations and ongoing developments are based on our constant attention to the market. We supply up-to-date products from qualified suppliers to meet the diverse requirements of our customers. Regular visits to international trade fairs, participation in congresses, symposia and conferences are the prerequisite for the necessary flow of information. Recon Company feels obliged to its customers to continuously fulfil this requirement. - This means that the right products will always find their way to you.
