Short description
The squad identifier is used to address a soldier directly and without ambiguity in combat, especially during urban operations. Often the soldier can only be seen from behind and therefore cannot be addressed by name. If the soldier knows his identification, for example "A2", then this can be read off his helmet or arm and rapid communication is possible.

The squad identifier is used to address a soldier directly and without ambiguity in combat, especially during urban operations. Often the soldier can only be seen from behind and therefore cannot be addressed by name. If the soldier knows his identification, for example "A2", then this can be read off his helmet or arm and quick communication is possible.
The identification consists of 3 patches: 1 patch 80x80 mm for the helmet and 2 patches 50x50 mm for the upper arm.
By the use of the long-lasting fluorine thread the marking is to be recognized also in dark rooms well, shines however not so brightly that it dioe position would betray.
Already tested several times in practice and compared with luminescent tape patches and the like, the marking has more than proven itself!
