XXL format in the name as well as in the form - with its almost 440 millimeters total length, the Walther Fixed Tool Knife XXL (FTK XXL) closes the gap between knife and machete. It ties in with the Walther FTK and with its additional size opens up application possibilities in a class of their own. The 440 C steel blade is already impressive. Its greatest strengths are the partial serrated edge and the pronounced blade belly, which is ideal for chopping work. The handle is a hybrid of high-quality G10 plastic and fine walnut - both screwed to the full-length tang. While the G10 area primarily protects the fingers and provides with its thumb rest for emphasis, the walnut wood ensures a firm grip and good manageability. Safely stowed and always ready, the FTK XXL waits in its nylon sheath for the next use
