Beschreibung

The multi-layer principle is an effective way to dress in cold climates. It applies not only to the body in general, but also to the feet, hands and head. Without headgear, the head acts like a chimney, through which a large part of the body heat escapes. The material retains body heat while helping to wick sweat away from the skin and dissipate excess heat. Wool is nature's functional material and so far no one has managed to artificially create a fiber that has such fantastic properties as wool. Wool fibers can absorb up to 30 percent of their own weight in moisture without feeling damp. When moisture is absorbed, an exothermic process creates so-called heat of absorption, so wool is warm even when it is damp. Ullfrotté Original can be machine washed at 60°C if necessary. The Woolpower Balaclava 400 is manufactured - from the yarn to the finished sewn garment - in Östersund/Northern Sweden.
