The AKU mountain boot KS (combat boot) SCHWER 14 GTX N from the Italian hiking and trekking shoe specialist, is the official mountain boot of the Swiss Army. It is extremely robust, comfortable and designed for the toughest conditions. The Gore-Tex membrane makes the shoe waterproof and guarantees a comfortable foot climate. Furthermore, the mountain boot is made with a leaf cut, which reduces the number of seams on the boot and improves comfort. Fewer seams reduce the risk of potential pressure points and seam wear. The raised and wraparound scree guard protects the feet and toes, the upper from wear and stabilizes the shape of the boot.
