ASP Handcuff Rigid Aluminum (High Security) is made of extra hardened aluminum with a polymer sheath, which reduces the risk of injury. It has a rigid lock that almost completely restricts the freedom of movement of the hands of the handcuffed person. The ASP Aluminum Handcuff is 30% lighter than traditional steel handcuffs and is one of the most durable and advanced handcuffs on the market
The ASP handcuff Rigid (High Security) has a special lock unit with two locking teeth which can only be opened with a special key and additionally a double lock function. A window shows if the Double-Lock has been activated. The handcuff can be locked from both sides so that it cannot be accidentally put on the wrong way round
The lock units of the ASP handcuffs can be exchanged for other, separately available, ASP lock units, so there is no need to purchase a new handcuff.
Yellow = Tactical, 1 locking tooth.
Blue = High Security, 2 locking teeth.
Green = European, 3 locking teeth.
