The SONIC 2 helmet is based on the PASGT helmet and is designed to provide compatibility with communication devices. It meets NIJ Level IIIA and NATO STANAG 2920 safety guidelines.

The SONIC 2 helmet with NIJ IIIA protection level is based on the PASGT (Personal Armour System Ground Troops protection system) helmet and is designed to provide compatibility with night vision and communication devices. It is also lightweight and offers very good hearing and vision.
The SONIC 2 has a deep neck extension and a slightly higher side cutout than the PASGT to accommodate wearing headsets and helmet intercom kits. A leather-covered forehead pad provides sweat repellency and good wearing comfort. The helmet harness system is equipped with a head (crown) pad. With the help of the neck pad, the helmet can be excellently adjusted for different head sizes. This also provides additional safety and prevents uncomfortable helmet movement during heavy body use.
