The full tang construction of the drop point blade made of 420 HC stainless steel make the Buck 836 Selkirk outdoor knife particularly robust. The CNC-machined Micarta handle scales in wood optics lie well in the hand thanks to the ergonomic design. The handle end can be used as a makeshift hammer in an emergency. The injection molded plastic sheath can be worn vertically or horizontally on the belt. A ferro-silicon fire starter with integrated whistle sensibly rounds out the outdoor features of this knife.
