Short description

Probably the most fascinating method of making fire: A blow on the piston of the Bushcraft Essentials fire pump ignites tinder material inserted in it. The compression of the air creates such high temperatures that the tinder begins to smolder. A diesel engine works the same way.

Bushcraft Essentials fire pump combines a fascinating physical principle (pneumatic lighter) with the highest quality and versatility. The cylinder incorporates a fully waterproof (IPX8) container for tinder storage, and the unscrewable handle piece also contains a fire steel as an alternative method of fire generation. This means that at least one source of fire is always available in emergencies. The piston and vent valve are perfectly sealed by double gaskets. The double piston seals are made of high quality nitrile rubber, making them extremely abrasion resistant, cold and heat resistant and compatible with all lubricants.

Included in delivery are: Fire pump, fire steel, tinder cord, 4 replacement seals, instructions.
