Beschreibung

The Waterproof Combat Smock by Arktis is a fully waterproof operational combat jacket worn by special forces and military units around the world. This smock was originally developed by Arktis in the late 80's for the SAS. Over the years there have been some tweaks, but the basics for a simple and reliable jacket have remained the same

The waterproof and breathable properties are achieved with a lightweight but strong seam-sealed lining. The shell is made of Arktis' proprietary 50% cotton, 50% polyester tightly woven ripstop fabric with DWR waterproofing that has proven to be effective, durable and reliable beyond all expectations over many years. The fabric is much quieter than most nylon outer materials and the 50/50 blend offers low melt (No Melt/ No Drip)

The hood has a drawstring with drawstring stopper, as well as a built in wire hanger for field of view adjustment. The Waterproof Combat Smock has a total of eight pockets, of which the four patch pockets are lined with nylon, making them waterproof to the outside. All buttons are tape-sewn slotted buttons, which allow for easy and quick opening and closing of the pockets, even when wearing gloves.
