The Source Tactical Hydration System consists of a lightweight backpack with flat and stowable shoulder straps with chest strap, four clips for attachment to MOLLE loops, a WXP 2 L hydration bladder with Storm valve and hose.
The WXP hydration bladder has a convenient Widepac slide closure for easy access plus a large twist closure. The hydration system is virtually self-cleaning thanks to the Source Glass-Like film. The surface of the Source hydration systems is 2000% smoother than a conventional PU film. This makes the surface almost as smooth as glass. The smooth surface prevents bacteria from settling and biofilm from forming. The co-extruded PE film encloses the liquid without giving off plastic taste to it. Additionally, it is free of BPA and phthalates. Thanks to Grunge-Guard technology, the surface of the hydration bladder inhibits the growth of bacteria efficiently, effectively and throughout its lifetime. The technology is based on antibacterial materials - so-called "anti-microbial agents" - with FDA approval and EPA registration.
The benefits of Glass-Like™ technology combined with Grunge-Guard™ technology represents a new generation of drinking systems where cleaning is no longer a problem. Simply fill with water and drink, again and again. Water stays fresh for days and even weeks.
The Storm valve is an angled, leak-proof pull valve with special high liquid flow. Drinking experience like you would with a straw or with a water bottle. Ideal for below freezing temperatures (Patent No. 6,622,988 US).
Easy to disassemble for cleaning. Valve cap protects against contamination during transport.
