Beschreibung

Thanks to the special shape of this axe, there is less friction during splitting. With a length of 80 cm and a blade / head weight of 2 kg is the Oyo Kloyvslegge splitting axe the largest in the Oyo axe series. The heavy forged head is made of high quality stainless steel with a hardness of 55-57 HRC. This makes it also very suitable for driving steel wedges into the wood. The handle is made of ash wood. This type of wood is resilient, tough and very resistant to the large forces the handle is subjected to when chopping.
