Beschreibung
The RAO II differs from the older RAO in that it has a drop point blade instead of the original tanto shape. Also, the shape is more rounded which improves ergonomics.
The RAO 2 has a lock and an additional safety mechanism in the form of a manual use of a steel pin that can be screwed on. The scabbard meets the military M.O.L.L.E. requirements and comes with a diamond sharpener. The RAO can be folded into the sheath on one side and stored in the case when unfolded. This knife was developed on behalf of the ' 185 ° RAO. Ricognizione ed Acquisizione Obiettivi' (Target Acquisition Regiment) airborne "Folgore" (185 ° RAO).
