The Firefighter Particulate Hood by BUFF offers its wearer high-level protection against thermal effects such as heat stroke, contact and radiant heat. Acts as a barrier to carcinogenic and harmful particles.

Inner Layer/Outer Layer: 56% M-Aramid Nomex®; 31% Viscose FR; 6% Polyamide; 3% P-Aramid Kevlar®; 2% Carbon Fiber P-140; 2% Spandex. Middle Layer: 100% DuPont™ Nomex Nano Flex®.
Beschreibung
To protect the skin, the BUFF Firefighter Particulate Hood uses a three-layer fabric to protect the most vulnerable areas of the head and neck. The first layer is a blend of NOMEX®, viscose FR and spandex, while the second is a non-woven meta-aramid textile layer made of DuPont ™ NOMEX® Nano Flex, which acts as a barrier against harmful micro and nano particles. Unlike other fire-retardant and particle-retardant balaclavas on the market, it features HeiQ Smart Temp technology. It helps regulate body temperature automatically in extreme situations, reducing the risk of fatigue, dehydration, heat stroke or even heat stress caused by high temperatures.
Certified according to: CE - CAT III EN ISO 13688/13, EN 13911/17, EN 1149-5/08.
Fire protection: BUFF® Professional products have obtained the EC type examination certificate according to EN ISO 11612:15.
