The Hoplite Parka from Pentagon is thanks to its nylon Taslon fabric - breathable and wicks moisture well away from the body. At the same time, the parka from Pentagon does not allow water to penetrate, because it has a film lamination. In addition, the outer layer of the jacket has a DWR Teflon coating - and Teflon is naturally water repellent. The whole thing is rounded out and enhanced with the jacket's taped seams.

The Hoplite has a variety of pockets, of which the engagement pockets are lined with fleece, as is the neck area. Other pockets include document pockets on the left and right upper arm, an inside pocket or an RF ID pocket on the left wrist.
