Short description
The Medic MASCAL Pack IRR from Tasmanian Tiger was designed and developed in close cooperation with special forces for the Active Threat Medic (ATM). The special backpack is a first aid care package for the simultaneous first aid treatment of multiple casualties when they cannot be treated immediately individually.

The Medic MASCAL Pack IRR (MASCAL = Mass Casualty) from Tasmanian Tiger is carried via a lightweight carrying system and can be quickly grabbed by the carrying handle. The front of the pack is equipped with four IFAK pockets for quick access, and the interior compartmentalization is designed to be stocked with enough supplies for emergency operations with many casualties. The Medic MASCAL Pack IRR was designed with a focus on the rapid initial treatment of casualties with minimal resources, categorizing them for transport and labeling them for further rescue by arriving responders.
The Tasmanian Tiger Medic MASCAL Pack IRR features Indirect Red Reflectance, or "IRR" for short, which significantly reduces reflection in the infrared spectrum. This allows for a better camouflage effect even at night.

Both the CORDURA® materials as well as webbing, Velcro and buckles meet the high German Army standards TL 8305-0278 or TL 8305-0281 regarding IRR camouflage effect (IRR 650 - 1250nm / 10 - 42%).
