The Nextorch rStar Multi-light Source Helmet Light intelligent helmet lamp that can set long-range white spot light with an illumination of 80 lumens and at short range 8 lumens - the tilt angle can be adjusted by the pan neck. With a rotating mode selector switch, Nextorch's rStar helmet light gives you the illumination and light color you need at the moment, based on your current tactical activity. The rStar Multi-light Source Helmet Light can be easily switched between plastic adapter and helmet thanks to matching accessories. For helmet attachment, a Velcro surface or helmet rail must be available.
Nextorch's rStar provides a white flood light for long-range scouting or a lower light output for close range in the field. The IR light has a wavelength of 940nm and thus can be detected by meister night vision devices. What makes the rStar special is that it has an IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) detection light, which allows for friend/foe detection. The light and compact design makes the light easy to handle. The flexible "gooseneck" allows you to direct the light where you need it regardless of the angle of your helmet. The rStar with White-Red-Green & IR is designed to mount on a variety of helmet rail systems, but is universal mountable with the included Molle clip and Velcro. This allows the light to be used on all equipment. The helmet lamp rStar is powered by an AA battery.
